#NYTWellChallenge – 2/18

Today we were exhorted to FUEL OUR WORKOUT.

The New York Times Wellness Challenge for today we’re back to the 7 minute workout. We were supposed to have a snack either before or after our workout. I chose to have some trail mix.

Cardio – Half-jumping jacks – 30 sec.

Rest 15 sec.

Lower Body – “Sit to stands”. – 30 sec.

Rest 15 sec.

Upper Body – I did wall push ups. – 30 sec.

Rest 15 sec.

Plank – I did a seated plank. – 30 sec.

Rest 15 sec.

Rinse and repeat.

Rest and stretch

I did the 4-minute meditation as my cool-down.

I was able to go to the Wellness Center and used the recumbent cross-trainer for an hour, following my workout.
