Our approach to gratefulness has to be big enough to embrace all the difficulties of the world.

2. Yesterday on my walk I met one of the nurses from Assisted Living, and we chatted a while (staying 6 ft apart and outdoors). I told her my sad story of Safeway not having my order, and me having to go inside to shop, and said I had gotten everything except butter, that I forgot. This morning as we were eating breakfast, she came to my door with a pound of butter that she had in her freezer. People are so great!
3. My personal trainer worked up a couple of routines for me to use to keep up with my activity. I’m walking outside whenever the weather is decent, and using the NuStep inside when it’s not, as well as the strength machines. I did a couple around the campus walks – one this morning and one this afternoon. All 10,000 steps in the book.
4. PF Chang’s Home Menu for lunch. Signature Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Very acceptable.
5. I’m connecting more often with my siblings through an every morning round-robin Instant Messenger conversation. It’s nice. I hope we don’t forget about it once this is over.
How about you? What made you happy today?
