Five things that made me happy today – 10/6/21

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful individuals can change the world. – President Bartlett

1. Rain in the night – not storming, but hard enough be the background of my dreams. Mid-40s when I got up – colder than recently. There was rain off and on all day with a high in the mid 50s.

2. HCR had Facebook Live problems with her politics chat yesterday, so I watched it this morning. I think I’m caught up now.

3. I fixed shrimp with packaged Knorr Noodles Romanof for lunch. More cleaning out of the freezer.

4. Listened to the Now and Then podcast while I worked out. Very interesting about how political parties have changed through the history of the United States. There’s lots to learn about where we are now as the Republicans seem to be splitting, and the Democrats seem to be coalescing in new ways.

5. Senior University had a program by the author of Hitler’s American Friends. It was super interesting (at least to me) because one of my 400 level college classes was about the rise of Nazi Germany.

How about you? What made you happy today?
