Life change comes when we receive life with thanks and ask for nothing to change.

1. A fresh storm blew in between 4:00 and 5:00 am. There may have been some rain, but it seems to have mostly been strong winds. We are now under a wind advisory all day. Not super cold – mid 40s at dawn. The weather settled down this morning, but just as I was coming home from the Wellness Center about 2:00 pm the heavens opened up. Thank goodness, I took the car. It began to clear when I got home and I was treated to this behind the departing storm.
2. In Bible Study we looked at Mark 13. It’s eerie how much this apocalyptic passage could be interpreted to be about the present day.with predictions of the end times. I might be really worried, but I remember that those predictions have been around for many, many years.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. This is but the beginning of the birth pangs.
But we’re all still here, and I have faith and hope that it is truly the birth pangs of a new world order.
3. The housekeepers came today. Clean everything in my house! That always makes me happy.
4. Because it’s Thursday it was “fix your own lunch” day. I had my perennial ham sandwich and Big Al fixed himself some noodles.
5. Greisser Girls Gab this afternoon. I’ve got lots to talk about with them from new babies to recipes to the Infrastructure Package.
