1. It was 39 deg when I got up this morning and cloudy. A big change from the 55 deg at dawn a couple of days ago. We had a high of 43 this afternoon, and the breeze is biting. Good to spend the rest of the day in front of the fire watching football (see #5).
2. I got all the decorations that I decided not to use put away this morning. We still need to put the outside lights away. The guy from the landscaping team that Al thought he had hired to help put them up last Sunday never came by. <sigh>
3. Since it turned cold last night, there have been lots of deer, grazing in my yard. They probably understand that there’s a possibility of frosty grass in their future. I’m so happy I’m not worried about getting too cold.
4. For lunch today I fixed bratwurst with sauerkraut with a little potato. I felt like I was in Germany on a cold, late fall day.
5. There’s a rematch between the Oregon Ducks and Utah this evening at 5:00 pm PST (ABC). They will be playing for the PCA-12 Championship, the Grand Prize of which is a trip to the Rose Bowl. #GoDucks
