1. It was much warmer first thing this morning – 48 deg. with wet streets and spotted windows. The rain continued all afternoon, and the temperature got up to 50 deg. briefly. We’re looking a this continuing.
2. Good sermon about the Transfiguration. She managed to bring in Ukraine and the state of the world.
3. Since this should have been Saturday’s lunch, I fixed Betty’s Collards, and Harriet’s Polenta for my lunch. Big Al had leftover chicken noodle soup from last Thursday.
4. I found myself with plenty of time to read my current Inspector Lynley (although this one features Barbara more than the Inspector). I’ve been so busy that I haven’t read on it as often and as much as I would otherwise have liked.
5. I also took time to read my lesson for Great Decisions that meets on Wednesday next week.
