1. 47 deg. when I got up with wet streets after sleeping with the sump pump off and on all night. There were clouds and sun breaks all day, including a few clouds that decided to dribble on us. High in the mid 50s, but the wind made it feel colder.
2. I got back to doing a story today after being less than regular with it. You can read it here.
3. Having the boys here a couple of weeks ago was a great Mother’s Day present. I appreciate them more and more as time goes on. I’m so impressed with the men they turned out to be.
4. I fixed my “Sister’s Lunch” with Betty’s Collards and Harriet’s Polenta. Big Al decided he wanted Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, so he was happy, too.
5. I spent the afternoon reading my current Inspector Lynley book. If any of you have a suggestion for a decent British mystery series on Apple TV, BritBox, Acorn, Netflix, or Amazon Prime, I’d appreciate hearing about it. I think I’ve watched everything I know about.
