1. Beautiful blue skies at sunrise and 60 deg. The blue skies with puffy white clouds hung around all day and allowed the temperature to rise to the mid 70s. Just perfect!
2. The wildlife in the backyard seem to be glad the 4th of July is over. They were in hiding, I guess from the combination of the fireworks on Monday and the landscapers mowing yesterday. But today I’ve seen Mama Doe and her fawn, several bunnies, and the ubiquitous squirrels.
3. I got my steps for the day finished at the Wellness Center before lunch. Whew!
4. We were back to our fast food hamburgers for lunch – a Big Mac for Al and a Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon for me.
5. Later this afternoon, I have a Zoom meeting with the General Assembly Nominating Committee. That should put sine die to the middle of my term – two more years to go.
