1. Drizzle/rain continued with wind overnight. 50 deg. at dawn – warmer than the high yesterday. The rain continued all day, and the high reached 57 deg just before sunset.
2. We decided we’re going to go to Portland and Fogo de Ciao for Thanksgiving. Having a hard time finding good restaurants who will be open on Thanksgiving Day around here. We’ll take the train down on Wednesday, check into our favorite Marriott Residence Inn near the train station, go to dinner on Thursday, back to the hotel, and take the train home on Friday. Reservations for two nights, the restaurant and the train are all made. Done and dusted. Hopefully, the Kennewick Watters can join us for dinner.
3. Went to the Wellness Center this morning to get my steps for the day and to meet with my personal trainer. He put me through my paces.
4. I finally got an appointment with a podiatrist to do something about the calluses on my feet. Al and I went together, and the doctor got all the nails clipped and the calluses seen to.
5. We stopped at OddFellas Pub for lunch on the way home. Cold and rainy so I had tomato bisque soup, and Al had a bowl of chili. I had made an order at Safeway (that’s in the same parking lot as the pub) so we picked that up. I needed bread, wine, and eggs. I plan to hibernate the rest of the weekend.
