Five things that made me happy today – 1/3/23

Unity, not uniformity, must be our aim. We attain unity only through variety. Differences must be integrated, not annihilated, or absorbed.

1. It was in the high 30s and drizzling when I got up. We never had anymore rain today, although drizzle was forecast in the area. 45 deg for the high.

2. Nice Bible Study today. We looked at the Baptism of Jesus. It was interesting because there were several people who had grown up Baptist, or Quaker, and they have different traditions.

While I was Zooming Bible Study, Al went and picked up my comforter from the cleaner and took the one that’s been on my bed. He also got a Safeway order for me. Plenty of veggies in the refrigerator now.

3. I had a tuna fish sandwich at the Bistro today. I’ll pick up some more fiber with carrots, etc. as a snack. Then I went in a rode the NuStep for a while and listened to HCR. She is fascinated with Kevin McCarthy’s problems.

4. The housekeeper came today and I have clean (and new) sheets on the bed, clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, vacuumed floors, etc.

5. Greisser Girls Gab this afternoon. We’ll have a good time talking about the problems of the world.

How about you? What made you happy today?
