At some point in life, the world’s beauty becomes enough.
Toni Morrison
1. It was 32 deg and cloudy when I got up this morning. The sun came out for a bit after breakfast, and then it went back behind the clouds after lunch. High temperature was 47 deg that felt positively balmy.
2. We had a substitute preacher in church this morning because Ofe was away at a wedding. It was a good sermon and I enjoyed hearing her take on the third chapter of John.
3. Big Al and I tried to go to Pomodoro’s for lunch, but they had some problems with their equipment, so we drove down to Kyoto. We both had yakisoba – vegetable for Al and seafood for me.
4. On the way home we stopped at Metropolitan Market, and I got a chicken pot pie and some salad for one day next week.

5. Once we got back to FTJ, we stopped at the duplex and I got a frozen box of Chicken Tetrazzini, and a breakfast bowl out of the freezer. I also put the laundry detergent in the garage, and got stuff to make another dinner next week. I’ll do a Safeway grocery order this evening that I’ll fetch tomorrow.
How about you? What made you happy today.
