1. It was 40 deg and clear when I woke up. The sun got up shortly before eight and stayed out all day. The high temperature was 61 this afternoon.
2. Right after breakfast we gathered up the clothes and went next door to do the weekly washing. This is (hopefully) the last time we’ll have to do that. By this time next week we should be back in our own place with the washer and dryer at my beck and call.
3. Once I got the clean clothes folded and hung up, I went down to Trader Joe’s and picked up my sausages (for next week) and some blueberries.
4. Since I was going to Trader Joe’s, Al asked me to bring him a Jimmy John’s sandwich, so I got one, too. Lunch at 4:00 pm…
5. I stopped by the duplex to put the sausages in the refrigerator, and checked on the carpet. It’s really nice and I think we’re going to like to color. They even replaced the carpet in the closets!
