It may be that some little root of the sacred tree still lives. Nourish it then, that it may leaf and bloom and fill with singing birds.

1. It was in the 30s and cloudy when I got up this morning.
2. Interesting Bible Study. The passage was Matthew 28:1-10. We noticed that all of the accounts of the resurrection in the four Gospels are different. Sometimes, there are three women, sometimes there are only two, sometimes they go into the tomb, etc. Somehow, we morphed into talking about Donald Trump “coming out” of his residence on the way to court, and comparing it to Jesus “coming out” of the tomb. I had a hard time with that interpretation…
3. I went over to the Bistro for lunch, followed by a session on the NuStep in the Wellness Center.
4. Lots of wildlife wandering through the backyard today – a whole deer family, many squirrels, bunnies chasing each other around, and birds of all kinds. Even if the weather doesn’t feel like it, the animals seem to think it’s Spring.

5. Greisser Girls Gab later this afternoon. Looking forward to hearing from my New York City sister about all the brouhaha in the city.
How about you? What made you happy today?
Since I no longer cook like I did for decades, I sometimes feel a stranger in my kitchen. I was able to produce delicious roasted chicken breasts that will become part of chicken noodle soup tomorrow but for tonight will be sliced and served with stuffed potatoes, another dish I am quite famous for. Fresh organic green beans sautéed in butter with almonds and fresh strawberries will round out the meal. Tomorrow most of this food is going to be delivered to our church member with the fractured back. I would say it’s been a good day.
