Five things that made me happy today – 5/12/23

If you feel like you don’t fit in in this world, it’s because you are here to help create a new one

1. In the high 40s and bright and clear this morning when I got up. The temperature got into the “sweet spot” for me – high 70s/low 80s. This is why I live in the Pacific Northwest.

2. We started a new writing class this morning – Meaningful Journaling. It’s going to be interesting. The teacher said I’m probably doing it already by regularly posting this blot.

3. Met with my personal trainer today. He’s working me pretty hard, but I think I’m beginning to see some progress.

4. Dinner today was pork chop, Stovetop stuffing, and black-eyed peas for me with pickled cabbage for Big Al.

5. Lovely flowers in honor of Mother’s Day from the staff at Franke Tobey Jones.

How about you? What made you happy today?

  1. I marked 130 assessments for 6 classes of first and second grades. Got the reports filled out to turn into the organization who is in charge of this project. Now I have to fill out that many certificates to hand out to the children next week. Glad I’m retired!
