I’m a 70-something wife, mother, grandmother, retired CPA, resident of Tacoma (formerly Dallas). I’m a life-long Presbyterian, and interested in the greater national and international church. I love to read and knit in my spare time (when I’m not tweeting, or blogging.) I’m passionate about social justice (anti-racism, environmental activism, hunger initiatives, income disparity, feminism, ablism, etc.).

I’m not a member of the band, I just know a few of the people in it. I know they have performed at Franke Tobey Jones in the past.

A friend of mine is in the Tacoma Banjo Band. Here is what she said. “We practice Fridays minus a couple of holidays from 10-12 at the Asian Pacific Cultural Ctr. 4851 S Tacoma Way. Happy to have folks in the audience.”

Thank you. I appreciate you saying what you said. Right now, I’m avoiding the whole thing — got an article that has to get done…. Someone told me retirement meant you didn’t have to work anymore…. They lied!
